Worship begins at 10:30 AM every week.

YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS

Casual summer worship until Labor Day is being held on the middle floor.  Come as you are and meet us!!

Vacation Bible School will be held the week of August 16th at our grove from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.  We have an Egyptian theme this year.  Call the church if you would like to register your children.

A Corn and Doggie Roast will be held Saturday, August 21st at 5:00 PM at the church.  At 6:00 PM, the VBS children will give a presentation of what they learned throughout their bible school experience.

As fall approaches we have some events planned for fellowship.  An Everybody’s Birthday Party covered dish will be held Saturday, September 11th at 5:00 PM.  Debbie Wahl will be the musical guest at 6:00 PM. On October 16th the Activities Group is sponsoring a hayride at Pioneer Evergreen Farm.

Holy Laughter, a multigenerational Sunday School event, will be enjoyed on September 19th beginning at 9:15 AM and continuing into worship. Bring a clean joke to share!

Our Prayer Memorial Garden commemorating those who lost their lives in the June 2, 1959 propane tank explosion is nearing completion.  Please feel free to stop by and walk its path or have quiet reflective time.  When the project is completed, we will have a dedication ceremony.  Please look in the local newspapers and our sign for a date and time.

A new Grief Support Group has formed which meets every other Sunday at 11:45 AM and includes a light luncheon. Call the church for specific dates.

Prayer Circle continues throughout autumn usually the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 5:30 PM.  While learning contemplative prayer practices, we pray for individual, congregational, and community needs.

Weight Watchers group meets every Thursday at 6:30 PM.

will be shared on the following dates:

August 1 - Summer Communion
October 3 - World Communion Sunday
October 31 – Reformation/All Saints Sunday
November 28 - First Sunday of Advent
December 24 - Christmas Eve

          It is not too early to RESERVE OUR PICNIC GROVE for your special events. 
Please call Terry & Robyn Snyder at 366-2418. 
They will gladly answer any questions regarding rental agreements and what is available for use on the property.

 Zion’s is a shared ministry affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church and United Church of Christ congregations.  We are the historic red church on Route 61.

We welcome all with a friendly smile in Christian love and fellowship. 

New life is beginning to grow and a new hope is spreading among us
as we find fresh ways to serve the local community,
carrying out the mission handed down to us by our founders in 1755.
